Position Summary
 

We are currently seeking a Senior Mould Setup / Moulder with a minimum of 10 years of experience in injection moulding to join our operations team in Langley, BC. This role is critical to ensuring efficient mould changeovers, precise machine setups, and optimized production processes that meet both internal and customer quality standards.
 

The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise, hands-on problem-solving skills, and a dedication to mentoring others within the team.
 

Key Responsibilities
 

• Perform full mould setups, changeovers, and machine startups on injection molding machines.

• Troubleshoot and resolve moulding and process-related issues, ensuring consistent product quality.

• Adjust and optimize machine parameters to improve cycle times, reduce scrap, and maximize production efficiency.

• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of moulds, tools, and auxiliary equipment.

• Collaborate closely with Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth workflow and minimal downtime.

•  Document and maintain accurate records of machine setups, process changes, and production runs.

• Train and mentor junior moulding technicians and operators to ensure skill development across the team.

• Proactively participate in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

• Adhere strictly to workplace health and safety policies, including safe lifting, handling, and equipment operation practices.
